An official from the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Guillaume de Rocquigny-Iran, Head of External Relations at the European Border and Coast Guard Agency ("Frontex"), according to the Dunyo news agency.

During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of Uzbekistan’s multilateral relations with the European Union, international security experience, and key global trends.

They also exchanged views on prospects for further strengthening international cooperation.

"Frontex", established in 2004 at the initiative of the European Union, plays a crucial role in ensuring border and coastal security among European states, coordinating migration processes, and strengthening international cooperation.

Both sides expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and support mutually beneficial initiatives.
