Uzbekistan wins two more gold medals

Ulugbek Rashitov and Hasanboy Dosmatov became two-time Olympic champions.
Having become the first Olympic champion in the history of Uzbek taekwondo, Ulugbek Rashitov also secured the title of the first Uzbek taekwondo athlete to become a two-time winner at the Olympic Games. Our compatriot, who competed in the 68 kg weight class, won the gold medal, defeating Jordanian Zaid Karim in the final with a score of 2:0.
Hasanboy Dosmatov (-51 kg), a representative of the Uzbekistan national boxing team, became the first Uzbek boxer to win the title of two-time Olympic champion. In the final, our compatriot defeated French fighter Bilal Bennama in the just completed fight, adding a gold medal to the collection of our country's delegation at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games Paris.
