Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highlighted the country’s growing international standing and the contribution of its citizens to the large-scale changes of recent years. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of independence, 558 citizens were honored with state awards for their contributions to the country’s development across various sectors.
“In short, the greatest result of New Uzbekistan is a transformed person, a citizen who believes in his or her own strength, and a society that feels connected to its future,” the President said.
