Uzbeks' average monthly nominal salary announced

Those work in banking, insurance, leasing, credit and mediation, as well as in the information and communication sector, are said to receive the highest monthly salary.
In the first half of 2024, the average monthly nominal salary in Uzbekistan was 5 million 92 thousand sums. This means a 17.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Information on this is provided in the report published by Statistics Agency.
In terms of regions, the highest average monthly salary was recorded in Tashkent (8 million 450 thousand), Navoi (6 million 602 thousand) and Tashkent region (4 million 918 thousand). The lowest salaries were observed in Kashkadarya (3 million 634 thousand), Surkhandarya (3 million 688 thousand) and Namangan (3 million 751 thousand) regions.
In the months of January-June 2024, the highest growth rates of the average monthly nominal wages by region were observed in Tashkent city (20.2 percent), Samarkand (18.2 percent), Andijan (17.6 percent), Fergana (16.8 percent) and Navoi (16.2 percent) regions.
By the end of the first half of 2024, the highest average monthly salary in the sector:
in transactions including banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and mediation - 14.4 million sums;
12.4 million sumsin the information and communication sector;
7.7 million sumsin the transportation and storage sector;
within the manufacturing sector – 6.2 million sums;
5.8 million sums in trade;
in the building industry – 5.4 million sums;
in the domain of lodging and dining services – 4.5 million sums;
4.1 million sums in the fields of leisure, art, and recreation;
in the educational sector – 3.5 million sums;
3.3 million sums are spent on social services and healthcare.
