In 2024, more than 50,000 citizens of Uzbekistan will be educated in Russian higher education universities.
Engineering and technical specialty is the most popular field of study among Uzbek citizens entering Russian higher education institutions. Konstantin Mogilevsky, deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, announced this at a press conference.
Also, more than 8,600 citizens of Uzbekistan have economics, more than 2,000 law, 4,000 management, 2,600 medical sciences, and 1,800 teachers in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
Mogilevsky said that in 2024, more than 50,000 Uzbek citizens will study in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, and in the current academic year, 8,000 people will have completed their studies at branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan.
