Winners of III chess tournament "Zakovat-Gambit" were determined

Zakovat-Gambit III chess tournament was held in Uzbekistan on 18-19 November this year. This year's chess tournament with the prize fund of 600 million sums gathered more than 4 thousand participants.
Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva said that within the framework of the tournament Zakovat-Gambit smart men and women of our country were able to fight on the chess board with renowned world champions Vladimir Kramnik and Hou Yifan.
"Our most ambitious dream was to create a trend among young people for education and intelligence," said Presidential Assistant.
Mukhiddin Madaminov, who placed 3rd in Group A at last year's competition, proved that he had seriously prepared for this year's competition and won. Nodirbek Yakubboyev and Shamsiddin Vokhidov took 2nd and 3rd places in this group.
In group "V" Muhammadzokhid Suyarov, Bobur Sattorov and Almas Rakhmatullaev, in group "S" Asrorjon Omonov, Akobirhon Saidaliev, Nurilla Uralov, in group "D" Islambek Sindorov, Shakhrombek Karimov, Abdulaziz Kurbonov, in group "Y" Rauf Kasymov, Akzhol Rakhmatullaev, Biloliddin Obidov took prize-winning places.
Chess players who took the 1st place in the groups received prizes of 50 million sums, 2nd place winners 30 million sums, 3rd place winners 20 million sums.
