The fund, created by Yango Group, is already active in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, and will now open opportunities for Uzbek startups as well.

Yango Ventures will focus on B2B SaaS, fintech, and O2O services, backing projects from the seed stage up to Series B. Its advisory board includes experts in AI, mobility, fintech, and entertainment.

“Technology is the key to progress, but startups also need experience and connections to scale. Our mission is to grow together with talent and help build a sustainable digital economy in Uzbekistan,” said Izzat Shukurov, head of Yandex Uzbekistan.

The fund’s initial capital is $20 million, with the potential for future expansion.
