A Major Traffic Accident Involving Over Forty Vehicles Occurs in Kazakhstan

A massive traffic accident involving hundreds of vehicles occurred on the Astana-Shuchinsk highway between the villages of Kogam and Karatal.
Due to adverse weather conditions (cold and strong winds), the road was closed at 7:20 AM. By midday, police and special equipment arrived to assist stranded drivers.
Following this, a convoy of vehicles began moving toward Shuchinsk. During the movement, one of the vehicles exceeded the speed limit, leading to a massive collision involving hundreds of cars.
According to Tengrinews.kg, around 800 vehicles were reported stranded on the Karaganda highway near Temirtau.
The police are urging drivers to refrain from traveling outside the city in adverse weather conditions.
