A State University of Cybersecurity Will Be Established

Presidential Decree No. PQ-14 "On the Establishment of the State University 'Cyber University'" has been adopted. According to the decree, a state university named "Cyber University" will be established.
Its primary mission is defined as training specialists in the fields of information protection, information and cybersecurity, digital technologies and the digital economy, development of AI-based automated information-analytical systems, robotics, and other related areas.
The university will be a state higher education institution with full academic, financial, and organizational-management independence. Its graduates will be awarded state-standard diplomas.
Student education at the university will be conducted on the basis of government grants and tuition contracts.
An IT cluster (technology park, technopark) will be established within the university, with a focus on creating startup projects oriented toward technological and innovative ideas based on advanced foreign experience, as well as their implementation into practice.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, 100 government grants will be allocated for undergraduate full-time programs. In this regard:
the allocated government grants will be distributed across fields of study;
starting from the following academic year, government grants will be allocated based on the parameters of state orders for admission to state higher education institutions;
the academic process at the university will begin in September 2025!
