AI-80 petrol price to rise from 1 April

The price of AI-80 petrol will rise again from 1 April 2024, as the excise duty applicable to it will increase from that date.

From that date, the tax rates on petroleum products and other excisable goods and services will change as follows:

1. Excise tax on production of petroleum products:

- From 303,000 to 340,000 sums (increase by 37,000 sums) for 1 tonne of AI-80 petrol;

- 242,000 to 271,000 sums (increase by 29,000 sums) for 1 tonne of jet fuel (except for synthetic fuel);

- from 291,000 to 326,000 sums (increase by 35,000 sums) for 1 tonne of diesel fuel (except for synthetic fuel);

- from 262,000 to 293,000 sums (increase by 31,000 sums) per 1 tonne of ECO diesel fuel (except for synthetic fuel);

2. Excise duty on sales of petroleum products and liquefied gas to end consumers:

- from 565,000 to 633,000 sums (increase by 68,000 sums) per 1 tonne for AI-80 petrol;

- from 516,000 to 578,000 sums (increase by 68,000 sums) per 1 tonne for diesel fuel (except for synthetic fuel);

- an increase from 807,500 to 904,000 sums (increase by 96,500 sums) per tonne of liquefied gas.

In this regard, the initial selling prices of oil products and liquefied gas of Uzbekneftegaz JSC at the stock exchange will be changed from 1 April, taking into account the new excise tax rates.
