Air pollution in Tashkent is at "harmful" level

According to IQAir, this morning, 12 February, Tashkent city ranked 9th in the world in terms of air pollution.

According to monitoring results of "Uzhidromet" agency, air pollution of fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) in Tashkent city at 9:00-10:00 a.m. was as follows:

84.7 µg/m3 at "Xalqlar do’stligi" square, Chilanzar district;

54.2 µg/m3 on the road "Bodomzor", Yunusabad district.

It is noted that the content of dust in the air in these areas belongs to the category of "harmful" levels of air pollution with AQI - PM 2.5.

The content of fine particles PM 2.5 in the air of the capital of Uzbekistan was 124.5 µg / m3. This is 24.9 times higher than the WHO recommendations.
