Another 10 Uzbek citizens deported from the United States are expected to arrive in Tashkent this week. This was announced by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahror Burkhanov, on his official page.

Earlier, it was reported that seven Uzbeks deported from the US had already returned home. Initially, they were supposed to be sent to Costa Rica, but after negotiations, they were brought back to Uzbekistan.

Additionally, another 10 Uzbeks, who were originally planned to be deported to Costa Rica, expressed their desire to return to Uzbekistan. As a result, their arrival in Tashkent has been arranged.

According to Ahror Burkhanov, these 10 citizens will arrive in Uzbekistan on a New York – Tashkent flight during the week.

"Another 10 of our citizens, who were supposed to be sent to Costa Rica but expressed a desire to return to their homeland, will arrive in Uzbekistan this week on a New York – Tashkent flight," he wrote.

Earlier, it was reported that Costa Rica had agreed to accept Uzbeks deported from the United States. However, as a result of negotiations, some of them were successfully returned to their homeland.

This case is considered another example of Uzbekistan's efforts to protect the rights and interests of its citizens.
