Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Yerevan has offered Baku to sign a non-aggression pact. It is assumed that the document is needed in case the signing of a peace treaty is delayed.
Armenia has offered Azerbaijan to sign a non-aggression pact if the process of signing a peace treaty is delayed. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a speech dedicated to the Army Day.
"We have presented Azerbaijan with a proposal for a mutual arms control mechanism and the signing of a non-aggression pact if the signature of a peace treaty encounters delays," Pashinyan said.
He also noted that Armenia is committed to the peace agenda and will not deviate from it. Mr Pashinyan drew attention to the fact that Yerevan has no claims to any territory "except its sovereign territory".
