Residents were notified in advance via the city’s mobile alert system. According to the network operator, restoration work was finalized ahead of schedule.

Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner announced on social media platform X that power restoration began at 11:00 a.m. He noted that simultaneous repairs at two facilities significantly accelerated the process.

“We will draw the necessary conclusions from this incident and continue strengthening Berlin’s resilience infrastructure,” Wegner said, thanking emergency services and technical teams involved in the recovery.
