Canada and Uzbekistan conclude several aviation agreements
The ICAO organisation's event "ICAN-2023" is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The delegation of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also taking part in this prestigious event. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

A total of 162 state aviation authorities and their airlines from 192 member states of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), as well as more than 1200 representatives of the aviation industry are taking part in the fifteenth event.

At the event, representatives of the Uzbek delegation are expected to reach mutual agreements with the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Canada and a number of other countries, as well as achieve goals to ensure the fulfilment of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan's instructions to develop tourism in the country and increase international air travel.

An agreement was also signed between the two countries to start the process of signing in due course and developing a draft agreement on air transport, which includes the third and fourth "freedom of air", giving the right to regular air travel.
