Education is at the center of attention: President held a videoconference
Uzbekistan
Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to review the progress of reforms and set new priorities in preschool and school education.
The Head of State stressed that the country’s economic growth and the future of children depend directly on the quality of education and the role of teachers.
“Since the first day of my work I have been repeating: education, education, education; teacher, teacher, teacher. There is no other way,” said the President.
He noted that major efforts have already been made — building and equipping schools and kindergartens, introducing modern curricula, and inviting foreign specialists. This work will be further expanded.
At the same time, the President demanded full responsibility from local governors and education leaders, emphasizing that without quality education it is impossible to achieve new technologies, products, and services. Only consistent and dedicated work at the local level will bring real results.
