First-Ever Interactive Children's Museum Launched in Tashkent

Uzbekistan

A genuine technological revolution in children's education and leisure has arrived in Tashkent. A unique interactive space has opened within the Center of Islamic Civilization, fusing the East's centuries-old scientific heritage with the futuristic technologies of Silicon Valley. Young Uzbeks will no longer just study history from textbooks; instead, they can personally interact with the digital avatars of Al-Khwarizmi and Ibn Sina, test artificial intelligence in a cinema, and conduct real engineering experiments in state-of-the-art STEM laboratories developed alongside top British experts.

First-Ever Interactive Children's Museum Launched in Tashkent
Uzbekistan’s first interactive children's museum and STEM pavilion for kids aged 7 to 12 has launched at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. The project was realized in partnership with the British organization "1001 Inventions." Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center, and Azizbek Turdiev, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education, emphasized the hub's vital role in popularizing science. The space features four distinct zones: an entry area with sensory panels, a gallery showcasing wax figures and digital avatars of great minds, an AI-powered cinema, and a scientific-creative lab with 15 interactive stations dedicated to the astronomy, engineering, and medical legacies of Al-Khwarizmi, Ulugh Beg, and Ibn Sina. The exhibit meets international safety standards and is fully accessible in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
