The economic partnership is showing record-breaking dynamics: over the past five years, trade turnover has doubled, exceeding $13 billion, with growth accelerating to 30% in early 2026. Energy remains the cornerstone of cooperation, as construction has already begun on the region's first nuclear power plant in the Jizzakh region based on a Russian design. Currently, more than 150 joint projects worth over 4 trillion rubles are underway in Uzbekistan, spanning industry, logistics, and telecommunications.

Transport connectivity has reached a new milestone, with air traffic hitting a record 367 flights per week. The sides agreed to simplify customs corridors and digitalize freight transport systems. In the humanitarian sphere, the focus remains on expanding the vast network of Russian university branches in Uzbekistan. Regarding labor migration, the countries moved toward an organized recruitment system, implementing registration and background checks within Uzbekistan before departure. The joint communiqué signed following the meeting confirms both nations' commitment to a long-term strategic partnership.
