Social Reforms on the Global Stage: Uzbekistan's Experience Presented at the Global Human Rights Forum in Beijing

At the 2026 Forum on Global Human Rights Governance, which gathered over 400 delegates from more than 100 countries, Uzbekistan's extensive experience in implementing social state principles was showcased in detail. Dilnoza Muratova, Deputy Director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, participated in this large-scale international platform organized under the auspices of the State Council Information Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development, the central themes of the discussions focused on the challenges of digitalization, climate change, and the deployment of artificial intelligence.
During the plenary session, the Uzbek side emphasized the priorities of the "Uzbekistan – 2030" Strategy, where investments in human capital, broadening access to education, and comprehensive social safety nets are proclaimed as vital conditions for improving citizens' quality of life. In her address, Dilnoza Muratova highlighted the necessity of ensuring equal access for all nations to global development opportunities and formally extended an invitation to the forum participants to attend the Fifth Samarkand Human Rights Forum, scheduled for September this year. Following the deliberations across five thematic sections, the delegates reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the architecture of international human rights governance and fostering a community with a shared future for mankind.
