Inflation in the Eurozone fell again
The inflation rate in the 20-member eurozone fell by almost one percent from May, falling to 5.3 percent in July this year. This was reported by the EU statistical agency.

In June, the inflation rate was 5.5 percent, and in May - 6.1 percent. According to Eurostat, the July low is largely due to the fall in energy prices, which fell by 6.1 percent.

The figures show that inflation in the eurozone, with a total population of 346 million, is at its lowest level since early 2022.

Meanwhile, Eurostat reported that the eurozone economy grew by 0.3% between April and June. Ireland's contribution to this indicator is high: its economy grew by 3.3%. France and Spain also performed better than the eurozone averages of 0.5% and 0.4% respectively.
