Israeli company Israel Aerospace Industries announced the successful launch of a new DS-SAR satellite, reports The Jerusalem Post.
The launch was made on Sunday at 04:00 Israeli time using an Indian rocket. The satellite went into orbit. Necessary checks are currently being carried out to ensure that its systems are working properly.
In the near future, the satellite will start sending weather data to the earth day and night.
The data provided by the satellite will also be made available to several Singaporean companies.
