Uzbekistan's young grandmaster Javokhir Sindorov confidently competed in the popular online tournament Titled Tuesday and took second place, falling only to Jan-Kristof Duda.
The tournament, held weekly on the Chess.com platform, traditionally brings together the world's strongest chess players. This time, the competition was particularly intense: Duda scored 10 points out of 11 and became the champion. Javokhir Sindorov finished the tournament with 9 points and took second place in additional indicators. American Christopher Yu, with the same number of points, closed the top three.
Duda received a $1000 reward for his victory. Sindorov, who became the vice-champion, earned $750, and Christopher Yu received $350. This result confirms that the Uzbek grandmaster continues to confidently move towards the heights of the world chess elite.
