Joe Biden Created Conditions for World War III
World
Supporters of the president-elect, including Donald Trump Jr., hardline Republicans, and other allies, sharply criticized Joe Biden for his decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russian territory using U.S.-supplied long-range missiles.
The Kremlin described this decision as an “escalation of the war.”
Donald Trump Jr. wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
“The Military-Industrial Complex seems to want to start World War III before my father gets the chance to create peace and save lives.”
Former intelligence chief Richard Grenell stated:
“No one expected Joe Biden to escalate the war in Ukraine during the transition period. It looks like he’s starting an entirely new war,” he said, criticizing Biden’s decision.
Hardline Republicans, including Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Senator Mike Lee, also voiced their dissatisfaction. Senator Lee said:
“Joe Biden has just created conditions for World War III. Let’s pray it doesn’t come to this.”
Biden Administration Defends the Decision
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said:
“The American people elected Joe Biden for a four-year term, not for three years and ten months. We will continue to pursue foreign policy that serves the interests of the American people every single day.”
This decision could also encourage other European Union countries to provide similar missile systems to Ukraine.
