In the first half of 2024, Uzbekistan imported 1.8 million mobile phones worth $171.1 million from abroad.
According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, China led the way among countries from which Uzbekistan imported the most mobile phones in 2024. A total of 1.5 million mobile devices were imported from China, making up the majority of the total import.
Vietnam supplied 288.8 thousand mobile phones, India sent 42.8 thousand, and Hong Kong contributed 16.8 thousand devices, the smallest share in the overall import.
