Technology
Meta is preparing to release its own AI application in the coming months that can compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT.
According to reports, the new application, named Meta AI, will become available in the second quarter of 2025.
It will operate separately from platforms like Facebook and Instagram, offering users enhanced opportunities to interact with artificial intelligence.
In addition, it is planned to launch a paid subscription that provides access to more advanced chatbot features.
Testing of this service will begin in the coming months, however, significant revenue from it is not expected until next year.
In January, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced his intention to invest between $60 and $65 billion in the company's AI infrastructure development this year.
These investments are aimed at strengthening Meta's position in competitive struggle against giants like OpenAI and Alphabet, Google's parent company.
