A review of official criminality in Uzbekistan during the first half of 2024 has been released by the General Prosecutor's Office. 2,525 criminal cases with 2,389 officials were prosecuted during this period.

There are 23 republican employees, 223 regional employees, and 2143 district (city) employees among the officials who have been charged with a crime.

The following crimes were committed by 1477 individuals: misuse of another person's property, bribery (158 cases), fraud (191 cases), and abuse of authority (104 cases).

In addition, 30 officials deviated from the scope of their authority, 48 committed fraud, 28 were cold-hearted, and 363 committed other types of crimes.
