MrBeast Meets Fans in Tashkent for the First Time

American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, known worldwide as MrBeast, met his fans in Tashkent for the first time on 9 October. The event featured challenges, quizzes, gifts and cash prizes, with each of the three winners receiving 100 million soums. The Uzbek capital marked the starting point of his journey through Central Asia.

The event was organised by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation in cooperation with the Tourism Committee. Those hoping to attend had to complete an application and pass a random selection process. Selected participants received individual QR codes, while the venue remained undisclosed in advance.
The programme featured problem-solving challenges, logic tests and quizzes inspired by MrBeast’s popular shows. The top prizes were cases containing 100 million soums each, which the winners opened in front of a cheering crowd. Other selected participants also received gift sets containing a fabric tote bag, notebook, bracelet and stickers. Feastables chocolate, the YouTuber’s own brand, was distributed as well.
Uzbekistan also prepared gifts for the American guest. A local artist presented MrBeast and his team with a painting depicting them wearing traditional Uzbek chapans. Blogger Maryam Tillyaeva gave him a specially tailored chapan featuring the MrBeast logo and the word “Uzbekistan.” She later clarified on Instagram that the garment had been made specifically for the YouTuber.
The visit also generated a wave of activity among local businesses, with Uzbek brands and venues releasing promotional videos inspired by the star’s arrival. Meanwhile, rumours spread on social media that the red Lamborghini associated with MrBeast’s challenges had been involved in an accident in Tashkent. The capital’s traffic police department denied that an incident had occurred in the city. MrBeast later clarified that the supercar had been damaged during filming in Delhi.
The Tashkent event concluded with gifts, excitement and an enthusiastic welcome, giving fans the chance to experience the style of the YouTuber’s online shows in person.
