Through renovation, land-use efficiency will increase 4-5 times, and communication costs will be reduced by half.

Most importantly, this will change the mindset of people in these areas, radically improve their quality of life, boost trade and services, create new jobs, and stimulate economic growth.

It was noted that significant progress has already been made in cities like Jizzakh, Margilan, Kokand, Shakhrisabz, Karshi, as well as in Dustlik and the capital districts. It was stressed that their experience should be expanded across all regions, as residents living in outdated and hazardous housing are eagerly awaiting this initiative.

It was highlighted that 20,000 apartments should be built this year as part of the renovation program.
