New electricity and gas tariffs in Uzbekistan

Starting April 1, 2025, new tariffs for electricity and gas will come into effect in Uzbekistan. This decision aims to modernize the country’s energy infrastructure, replace outdated equipment, and increase capacity, according to the press service of the Territorial Electric Networks.

New Electricity Tariffs

For households with electric stoves in multi-story buildings:

Up to 200 kWh: 300 UZS (previously 225 UZS);

201–1000 kWh: 500 UZS;

1001–5000 kWh: 750 UZS;

5001–10,000 kWh: 875 UZS;

Above 10,000 kWh: 1000 UZS.

For other households:

Up to 200 kWh: 600 UZS (previously 450 UZS);

201–1000 kWh: 1000 UZS (previously 900 UZS);

1001–5000 kWh: 1500 UZS (previously 1350 UZS);

5001–10,000 kWh: 1750 UZS (previously 1575 UZS);

Above 10,000 kWh: 2000 UZS (previously 1800 UZS).

New Gas Tariffs
Up to 500 cubic meters: 1000 UZS (previously 650 UZS);

500–2500 cubic meters: 1800 UZS;

Above 10,000 cubic meters: 3000 UZS.
The price of liquefied gas will be 2000 UZS per kilogram.

These measures are intended to improve energy supply quality but will lead to higher expenses for consumers.
