During the meeting, both sides noted the dynamic development of cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, particularly in trade and the economy.

Humanitarian ties received special attention: Uzbekistan hosts the largest Tatar diaspora, while Tatarstan remains a key Russian partner in education, currently training more than 3,500 young people from Uzbekistan.

As part of the visit, the Kazan Kremlin — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — hosted the opening of the exhibition “Light Between Worlds”. The project unites the collections of the New Jerusalem Museum and the Savitsky Karakalpak Art Museum. Uzbekistan presented seventy works by Russian avant-garde masters, including Solomon Nikritin, Alexander Shevchenko, Vasily Chekrygin, Sergey Romanovich, Mikhail Sokolov and Robert Falk.

Concluding the visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed gratitude for the warm reception and confidence in the continued development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
