The procedure for bringing jewellery through customs has been changed.

No declaration form needed to export jewellery to Uzbekistan
Now jewellery worth up to 100 million sums can be exported from customs without filling out a declaration. This was reported in the Ministry of Justice.

It is noted that on 31 October Presidential Decree № 185 made changes and additions to some legal acts.

According to the Decree, now individuals can take out of the customs territory of Uzbekistan finished jewellery worth up to 100 million sums - without filling out a passenger customs declaration, worth 100 million sums and more - on the basis of a passenger customs declaration.

For information: finished jewellery worth more than 5,000 US dollars was allowed to be exported outside Uzbekistan by filling in a passenger customs declaration.
