No grace period when a victim of violence is divorcing

According to the amendment made to the Family Code, when considering cases of divorce, the court will not assign a grace period for reconciliation at the request of a person who has suffered domestic violence.
The Law No. O‘RQ-1053 of the Republic of Uzbekistan introduced additions and amendments to certain legal documents.
Furthermore, according to the amendment to the Housing Code, when disputes about the use of housing are being considered, the court, based on the agreement of the parties, may impose the obligation on the property owner to either relocate the party being forcibly introduced to the property to another suitable housing or to pay rent for the leased housing.
