According to the President of South Korea, North Korea can also go for the use of nuclear weapons to achieve its goals.
South Korean President Yoon Seok said that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) can use nuclear weapons to achieve its goals. He stated this at a government meeting.
“In order to achieve its goal in the war, North Korea will fully mobilize all available means, and is also ready to use nuclear weapons along the way,” the president said.
Yoon Suk-yeol urged the DPRK to prepare for possible attempts at war aimed at creating serious social upheaval and division in South Korea.
He also warned of Pyongyang's intention to paralyze South Korea's national infrastructure through attacks on nuclear power plants, advanced industrial facilities and telecommunications networks.
