The Democratic People's Republic of Korea launched several cruise missiles from its western coast.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea, the missiles were launched at 07:00 local time. The number of missiles is not specified.
According to the agency, this is the third such test in a week.
The Republic of Korea's military has stepped up surveillance and emphasised its cooperation with the United States in monitoring North Korea.
