North Korea Prepares to Send Additional Troops to the Ukraine War
North Korea began sending troops to the Ukraine war last fall. This was done as part of an agreement to strengthen the alliance between Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin against the U.S.-led Western hegemony. North Korea plans to receive modern missiles and satellite technologies in exchange for supplying soldiers, weapons, and ammunition to Russia.

According to the Ukrainian government, North Korean soldiers are stationed in Russia's Kursk region. According to South Korean intelligence, 270 of these soldiers have been killed, and nearly 2700 have been injured.

Donald Trump described North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as a "smart guy" and expressed a desire to restore relations with him. Trump met with Kim three times during his presidency and considered these meetings significant achievements. However, no concrete agreement was reached on reducing the nuclear arsenal during these talks.

North Korea's involvement in the Ukraine war is being criticized internationally. Officials have stated that such actions could have serious consequences for Pyongyang. At the same time, the increasing military assistance from North Korea, which violates international laws, is considered a concerning situation.
