Kim Jong-un also wished a speedy elimination of the consequences of the disaster and a return to normal life.

As a result of the earthquake in Japan, 110 people were killed, more than 500 people were injured, tens of thousands of people were left without shelter, water and electricity. Local authorities continue to monitor the safety of people whose fate is unknown. More than 365 houses have been completely or partially destroyed.
