Notary Service Fees to Increase in Uzbekistan

According to Order No. 3235 of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, notary service fees will increase starting from March 1, 2025. These changes aim to improve the quality of notarial services and enhance transparency in legal procedures.
Key changes include:
Consultations on transferring real estate and vehicles to another person, as well as certification of mortgage and leasing agreements – the commission will increase from 10% to 15% of the BCU (Base Calculation Unit).
Preparation of contracts for the transfer of real estate – the service fee will increase from 20% to 30% of the BCU.
Collateral (mortgage) and leasing agreements (involving individuals) – the commission will rise from 15% to 25% of the BCU.
These changes are intended to strengthen the legal framework of notarial services and improve the quality of legal assistance provided to citizens.
The document was published in the National Database of Legal Acts and came into force on February 19.
