Uzbekistan's Ruslan Nurudinov secured the gold medal at the "Universal Weightlifting Cup" international tournament in Apia, Samoa. Competing in the under-110 kg weight category, the decorated athlete delivered a masterclass performance: 178 kg in the snatch and 222 kg in the clean and jerk.
With a total result of 400 kg, Nurudinov confidently outpaced rivals from Samoa and Fiji. This latest victory by the Olympic medalist and multi-time Asian champion reaffirms his status as a leader in world weightlifting.
