Uzbekistan
The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. As part of the event, Oybek Dusmatov Murotjonovich, founder of Group Asia Pharm and the Orzax joint venture and chairman of the Pharm Club Association, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
Scientists and experts from Uzbekistan, Germany, Hungary, Türkiye, Korea and around ten other countries took part in the conference both online and in person.
For Dusmatov, the recognition carries particular significance. He noted that he had once been a student at the same institute and described the honorary title as recognition of years of hard work, professional development and dedication to his field. He said it was especially meaningful that the award was personally presented by the institute’s rector.
Dusmatov said he represents the second generation of his family in the pharmaceutical industry and takes pride in his profession. According to him, he is inspired by creating new projects, opening jobs, bringing modern technologies and new products to Uzbekistan, and developing medicines and solutions that benefit people.
He also highlighted the importance of supporting young professionals and sharing his experience with them. In his view, the honorary title is not only a source of pride but also a major responsibility.
“Any recognition is not given to stop, but to work even harder and strive for new heights,” Dusmatov said.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to the institute’s leadership, his mentors, team, partners and family, adding that there is still much work ahead, along with major goals and new achievements.
