The event brought together representatives of tourism companies from both countries, business circles active in the tourism sector, and members of the diplomatic corps. They exchanged views and shared proposals on increasing the number of tourists, developing joint tour packages, and simplifying visa processes.

During the event, a presentation titled “Uzbekistan – The Pearl of the Silk Road” was showcased. It was emphasized that this historic route connected the two nations not only through trade but also helped strengthen fraternal and friendly ties.

Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shodiev, stated that Uzbekistan's tourism opportunities have significantly improved in recent years, with better conditions being created for tourists to visit its historical cities. He also suggested establishing cooperation between higher education institutions in both countries that offer tourism-related programs.

The Pakistani side welcomed these initiatives and emphasized the need to develop joint tour packages. They expressed readiness to work together to enhance transportation links between cities, improve hotel standards, and upgrade the quality of tourism services for citizens of both countries.

In the second part of the event, a festive cultural program was held, featuring performances of traditional Uzbek songs and dances.
