Pashinyan Announces Readiness to Sign Peace Agreement with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, expressed Armenia's immediate readiness to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan. According to him, 80 percent of the agreement has already been agreed upon.
Pashinyan emphasized that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not only possible but also achievable in the near future. He further noted that Armenia's constitution contains no territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
“We are ready to provide detailed written evidence of this to all our international partners,” Pashinyan stated. He also mentioned that signing the agreed-upon articles would significantly ease the resolution of disputed issues.
