By the decision of Ministers Cabinet, the measures for retraining and improving the qualifications of personnel in the energy sector were approved.

Today, 80,000 people work in the field of electric power, oil and gas. At the same time, the lack of a unified system of retraining and upgrading the skills of energy industry employees has a negative impact on the quality of repair work at the industry's facilities, causing an increase in the number of accidents and accidents.

Under the Ministry of Energy, "Uzenergoinspeksiya", "Issiqlik elektr stansiyali" JSC, "Uzbekgidroenergo", "Uzbekistan National Electric Networks", "Uzbekneftgaz", "Uztransgaz" and "Hududgazta'minot" and "Uzkimyosanoat" have regional branches. in the field of personnel retraining and professional development center is being established in the form of LLC.

The main tasks of the center will be to ensure the quality of personnel education in accordance with modern requirements, to form the level of necessary professional competencies, to introduce mechanisms for continuous improvement of professional knowledge, skills and qualifications, and to develop educational programs based on advanced foreign experience.

Starting from April 1, 2025, leaders and specialists working in state organizations and enterprises in the field of energy will upgrade their qualifications at least once in five years, and engineers and technicians, production and workers at least once in three years.
