Warsaw said it was stopping arms supplies to Ukraine amid disagreements with Kiev over a ban on grain imports.

Poland will no longer supply weapons to Ukraine
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on September 20 that Poland would now abandon arming Ukraine and focus on its own defense. This was reported by DW.

It is noted that the decision became known a few hours after Warsaw summoned the Kyiv ambassador amid a scandal related to grain exports.

“We are no longer supplying weapons to Ukraine because we are now arming Poland with more modern weapons,” Morawiecki said.

“Ukraine is defending itself from a brutal attack by Russia, I understand this situation, but we are defending our Motherland,” the Prime Minister added.

It is noted that on the morning of September 20, Poland summoned the Kyiv ambassador to speak to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the UN General Assembly.
