During the discussion, senators noted that the law regulates the formation and execution of the country&rsquo;s consolidated budget for the coming year. They emphasized the budget&rsquo;s strong social focus, aimed at improving living standards, promoting a green economy, protecting the environment, expanding healthcare coverage, and ensuring quality education. According to the presented figures, nearly 55% of state budget expenditures &mdash; 220 trillion soums &mdash; will be allocated to the social sector. Education spending is set at 100 trillion soums, while healthcare will receive 49 trillion soums, an increase of 11.4% compared to the current year. Inflation in 2026 is projected at 7%. Total state budget expenditures will amount to 402.6 trillion soums, with revenues estimated at 368.9 trillion soums. Centrum Air is launching its cloud-based entertainment system, Centrum Media. The platform is already operational on the first three aircraft (UK32074, UK32131, and UK32130) and will be rolled out across the entire fleet by the end of the year. Centrum Media allows passengers to connect to a Wi-Fi portal from their smartphone, tablet, or laptop without installing apps—simply scan a QR code. The platform features a catalog of films, podcasts, magazines, flight information, and answers to frequently asked questions. Furthermore, the new system allows passengers to order additional snacks and drinks directly from their devices without leaving their seat.

Centrum Air introduces cloud-based in-flight entertainment system

The government of Uzbekistan has abolished over 1,600 mandatory legal requirements regulating entrepreneurial activity. The decision is set out in a Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated December 15, according to the Ministry of Justice. The ministry noted that such a large-scale removal of restrictions is being carried out for the first time. The bulk of the cancelled requirements &mdash; 1,568 items &mdash; concerned mandatory conformity certificates for goods under veterinary supervision. The reform also affects tourism and individual entrepreneurs. Excessive requirements in the provision of tourism services have been scrapped, while sole proprietors are now allowed to rent out housing to tourists for more than 30 days. In addition, the $5,000 cap on the value of imported goods for individual entrepreneurs has been lifted. Further simplifications apply to manufacturing, including the abolition of certain requirements related to furniture production from wood. Authorities expect the changes to reduce bureaucratic barriers in business-government interactions and lower entrepreneurs&rsquo; costs by saving time and resources. More than 36,000 mandatory requirements remain listed in the Unified Electronic Register.
