On January 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation dedicated to the development of higher education and science. In recent years, new universities have been established in the country, significantly increasing access to higher education, and more than 1,200 academic programs have been updated. Modern fields such as solar energy and biosystems engineering have also been introduced.

On January 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation dedicated to the development of higher education and science. In recent years, new universities have been established in the country, significantly increasing access to higher education, and more than 1,200 academic programs have been updated. Modern fields such as solar energy and biosystems engineering have also been introduced.

In 2025, it is planned to improve another 1,000 programs, conduct international accreditation for 45 fields, provide students with access to digital services, and implement dual education for 50,000 students. Additionally, the following goals have been outlined:

Increasing the scientific potential of universities to 55%;

Establishing 25 engineering schools;

Increasing funding for joint projects between universities and industrial enterprises.

In the near future, new technical universities and engineering schools will be opened in the regions. Programs aimed at the spiritual, sports, and intellectual development of students are being implemented. Measures to enhance these efforts and strengthen patriotism among the youth were also discussed.

These steps aim to create a modern education system that meets the demands of the times.
