Vladimir Putin presented Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, with the "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree order.
Vladimir Putin "President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin ceremoniously presented this prestigious order to Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov," said Chechnya's Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press, and Information Ahmed Dudaev.
According to Dudaev, Ramzan Kadyrov received this award for his significant contributions to strengthening the Russian statehood, enhancing the country's defense capabilities, and for his remarkable achievements in the socio-economic development of Chechnya.
The state awards ceremony took place on Friday in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin. Among those honored with orders, medals, and honorary titles were representatives of public and religious organizations, government officials, journalists, teachers, mentors, famous artists and composers, healthcare workers, industrialists, and agricultural workers.
