The Russian President will take part tomorrow in a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Russian-Kyrgyz negotiations are expected to take place today.

Putin has arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Who are his companions?
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Bishkek on 12 October. During his two-day official visit to Kyrgyzstan, he will take part in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and hold a number of bilateral meetings.

Among the members of the Russian official delegation are:
— Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,
— Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk,
— Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko,
— Minister of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov,
— Head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov,
— Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov,
— Head of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev.

Kyrgyz-Russian negotiations are expected to take place. Among the topics to be discussed are the main issues of further development of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, military-technical, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. It is also planned to exchange views on topical international issues.

At the end of the talks, a ceremony of signing joint intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents will be held, after which Zhaparov and Putin will make a final statement to the media.
