Ramadan Eid to Be Celebrated on March 30

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed a decree on "Celebrating the Blessed Ramadan Eid." According to the decree, Ramadan Eid will be widely celebrated on March 30, 2025.
The decree highlights that Ramadan Eid is a symbol of generosity, tolerance, and unity. It also outlines instructions for celebrating the holiday in accordance with national traditions and customs, ensuring a festive atmosphere throughout the country.
Additionally, special measures are being planned to facilitate visits to religious sites for citizens.
Since March 30 falls on a Sunday, an additional public holiday will be observed on Monday, March 31.
Public holiday schedule:
March 29 (Saturday) – Weekend for five-day workweeks, working day for six-day workweeks;
March 30 (Sunday) – Ramadan Eid holiday;
March 31 (Monday) – Additional public holiday for all.
