Representatives from 136 countries and territories will gather in Russia for SPIEF-2024 from 5-8 June

From June 5th to 8th, 2024, the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will take place, serving once again as a platform for meetings among business, political, and governmental representatives from Russia and other countries, as reported on the "Roscongress" foundation website.

This year, 11 bilateral business events in the format of business dialogues involving foreign partners from countries such as Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, African countries, Venezuela, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, as well as countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, are planned to be held in St. Petersburg.

Last year, the SPIEF took place from June 14th to 17th, attracting over 17,000 participants from 130 countries worldwide. More than 900 agreements were signed at the forum, totalling 3.86 trillion roubles.

Traditionally, agreements and contracts on cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, sports, and social policy are signed within the framework of the forum.

"At present, 17,100 people and 3,400 representatives of the media from 136 countries and territories have confirmed their participation in the SPIEF," noted Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is a unique event in the world of economics and business. SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006, it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.
