Film portal Rotten Tomatoes has completed a poll for the choice of the best director of the last 25 years. Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve competed in the final confrontation. Christopher Nolan won with 87% of the vote for his contributions to the superhero, science fiction and biographical genres.

The popular film portal Rotten Tomatoes conducted a survey aimed at choosing the best director of the last 25 years. As part of this survey, users were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite from a list of 64 names. An important criterion was that all these directors made their debut after 1998.

At the end of the vote, British and American film director Christopher Nolan snatched victory, receiving an impressive 87% of the votes of support from the audience. The editors of Rotten Tomatoes credit him for helping to rethink superhero cinema, bringing new dimensions and depth to it. His work on The Dark Knight films, as well as sci-fi masterpieces such as Inception and Interstellar, has received critical acclaim and attracted millions of viewers around the world. He also wowed audiences recently with his biopic Oppenheimer.

Second place in the poll went to Denis Villeneuve, known for his work on the films "Dune" and "Blade Runner 2049". His talent and contribution to modern cinema did not go unnoticed by viewers and critics.
